Surf / Sea State: short chop

Sea Temperature: 15.5
Weather: sunny
Max Speed: 29.7 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 21.7 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Wind picked up at low tide as it often does so I rigged a 5.2. I was getting overpowered even when out and downhauled to the max, but I kept on as I did not fancy the walk back to change down. Wind was gusty but some excellent runs. Gybes were coming off, except in shore where the chop was very short. As the tide came in and chop sorted itself out the gybes came off more. As often happens the wind in Llan was stronger than forecast.
Recorded my fastest GPS, which I guess came when the win flatteded the water.
